Dragon Age

Dragons normally (if not killed at an early age) live to at least one hundred years old.
They can reach
four hundred though, which is the world record in dragon age.

World record: One Ruby dragon lived to four hundred.  It was the dragon that started the treasure dragons, meaning it did not start dieing when it's master died living on to four hundred.

Young dragons get independence after their 3 years of being kept in the nest.

The Dragon Heart

A dragons heart is the gem in a dragon's name. For instance, a ruby dragon's heart is the ruby.  When a dragon's master dies, his or her dragon has nothing to do anymore.  It will soon die slowly which takes an hour.  Then the heart becomes loose and it can come out.  When a dragon dies, it goes to the underworld.
A dragons heart is attached to the body by a piece of gold attached to it's chest.
