Dragona falls

A common place to find drinking dragons.  Sapphire dragons often raise their young in the caves surrounding the river at the bottom.  To get there, you have to pass lava pit.   Belive me, its hard to get there because only four people have gotten there.

  1. In some of the books I have read, dragons have been described as beautiful in flight if somewhat ungangly when moving on the ground. I have also read that their bodies are covered with opalescent scales that shine like jewels in the sunlight. But I did not know that they actually had a gem equivalent and hierarchy. I found that to be fascinating. Is there a garnet dragon?

Do the dragons populate the earth or do they predominantly live in a particular country? Also, are they family/clan oriented with a matriarchial structure? What age can they attain and at what age do the young dragons attain independence? Do they attend school or do they receive their training from elders? I would be very interested in your thoughts on this subject.
